After I got my Norton Antivirus for another year, my homepage has changed to this: http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avc... and I've tried changing it in Internet Options unsuccessfully. Also, I tried going to this page: http://support.microsoft.com/default.asp... to do a clean boot on my system. -still I cannot change my homepage!! I don't get it! Help.

I've gotten that error before, there's usually Norton security pop-up that will ask if it's ok to change the start page back to your default. If tht's not occuring, download a current version of the browser....uninstall the one you have and reinstall the current one. Hopefully that will fix it, or at least give you the security pop-up that allows you to change the homepage.

Try following the insturctions on the homepage you are getting. Another repair may be to see if there is a software upgrade for your Norton Antiviurs at http://www.symantec.com/home_homeoffice/...
